This policy covers the Bai Ze iOS and Android apps and the website at https://bebaize.com.

The operator is an individual. Third-party processors (listed below) may store or process data on our behalf to run the Service.

If you do not agree with this policy, do not create an account or use the Service.

Account: when you create an account with email we store your email address and a hashed password (managed by Supabase Auth). When you sign in with Google we receive your Google account identifier, name, and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

Reading activity: highlights, progress, streaks, mindscape answers, focus aspects, collections, cache items, and similar learning data you create in the app.

Purchases: if you subscribe, Apple, Google, or a payments partner (RevenueCat) process the transaction. We receive entitlement status (for example, whether Pro is active), not your full card number.

Device and diagnostics: crash and performance data may be collected through Expo so the app can stay stable.

Usage on the website: standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may be processed by the hosting provider.

We do not intentionally collect government IDs, precise continuous location, or payment card numbers.

To run your account, sync reading data across devices, and show your mindscape and library.

To provide paid features you buy and to restore purchases.

To send optional reading reminders you turn on in the app.

To improve reliability and understand which parts of the product fail.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your reading data to build advertising profiles or sell ads.

Google: authentication when you choose Continue with Google.

Supabase Auth: email/password accounts and session tokens.

Supabase: stores accounts and synced reading data.

RevenueCat and the App Store / Google Play: subscriptions and entitlement checks.

Expo: app builds, updates, hosting, and optional diagnostics.

Data is shared with these processors only to operate the Service, or if required by law. Because this is a personal project, there is no separate corporate group of affiliates receiving your data for marketing.

Account and synced reading data are kept while your account is active.

You can export or delete cloud learning data from Profile in the app. After deletion, residual copies may remain in backups for a limited time.

If the Service is discontinued, we will handle remaining personal data as described in any shutdown notice, or delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period where feasible.

Email privacy@bebaize.com to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to request deletion of your account. Use the same email you sign in with when possible.

You can revoke Google access in your Google account settings. That does not automatically delete Bai Ze data until you delete it here or request deletion by email.

Optional reading reminders can be turned off in Profile.

We use reputable processors and normal industry practices (for example encrypted connections) to protect data in transit. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. As a personally operated app, security depends in part on those processors’ controls.

Bai Ze is for adults. The Service is not marketed to children, and you must be at least 18 to use it.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information, contact privacy@bebaize.com and we will take steps to delete it.

Processors may store or process data in the United States or other countries where they operate. If you use the Service from another country, your information may be transferred to those locations.

This policy may be updated. The effective date at the top of the page will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and request deletion of your data.
